Students in this colourful course were required to choose a colour to investigate and to present and share a Colour Vision Board. It was up to them to use it as they wished to highlight and display their research and thinking. They could be as creative as they wished and pursue areas of their own interest, so long as they showcased their colour and educated their audience by imparting their research findings, thinking and knowledge they have gained.
Collectively, we learnt about the history of colour, language related to colour (Once in a blue moon), psychology and marketing strategies, poetry, lyrics, films, scientific insights and medical research, colour in nature, cooking and nutrition, religious and cultural significance, legends, myths, superstitions, flags , colour mixing and so much more than we expected!
These are some sample vision boards from the recent Chromatopia course.
