We want to thank you all for your support during this rapidly changing event.
Last week, the State Government announced changes to education based on a review of current arrangements and updated health advice.
PEAC has been directed that we are to offer students face-to-face classes as soon as we are able, to align with the announced changes.
This means that we will no longer be solely running the BIG IDEAS online course in Round Two. We will now also offer a choice of face-to-face courses.
‘Round 2a’ and ‘Round 2b’ no longer exist. Instead ‘Round Two’ will be offered as an 8-week course from 15 June until 21 August, with both the online and face-to-face options available.
- We will re-launch the Course Preference System on 22 May.
- We will require you to select up to four preferences for your child.
- Details regarding the courses and course selection information will be available on our website from 22 May.
- A direct link will also be emailed to you on 22 May.
22/5 – Course Preference System opens at 3pm
1/6 – Course Preference System closes at 11.59pm
8/6 – Course Notifications sent to schools and parents
15/6 – Round Two commences (8-weeks)
21/8 – Round Two finishes
The extra cleaning and hygiene practices implemented in schools at the start of Term 2 will also be adhered to in our PEAC centres.
The PEAC team are very much looking forward to resuming face-to-face learning and, again, we thank you for your ongoing support.
