Course Overview
Do you know your quenda from your quoll? Your possum from your potoroo? Your bilby from your bandicoot? It’s time to discover the remarkable but often overlooked animals that call Australia home. In this course, you’ll investigate the unique adaptations of our native mammals, explore the challenges they face in the wild, and consider how we can help protect them into the future. You’ll also enjoy an exciting incursion provided by staff from the Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, where you’ll meet native animals up close, learn from wildlife experts, and discover how injured and orphaned animals are cared for before being returned to the wild.
