Course Overview
A unique opportunity to spend time every week at the Aquarium of Western Australia, including an hour before the general public are admitted. Regular access to the exhibits and several meetings with the in-house guides allow each student to become an expert about one of a diverse range of creatures found along the WA coast.
New knowledge includes a development of their understanding of the origins, structure and use of scientific classification. Through primary and secondary research and the collection of quantitative and qualitative data, students work towards presenting their own expert talk which tests their resilience and their skills in public speaking.
