In this course, you will explore deep‑sea trenches, hydrothermal vents and polar oceans, investigating creatures that glow in darkness, withstand crushing pressure and thrive in extreme conditions. Your adventure will take you to the Boola Bardip Museum, where you will investigate how marine animals have adapted to their environments through interactive exhibits and real specimens. You will then visit the OceanXperience exhibition, where you will explore innovative technology and advanced research that deepen our understanding of the ocean. Thinking like an ecologist and evolutionary scientist, you will analyse survival strategies and patterns of adaptation before designing your own organism capable of surviving in an extreme marine environment.
