Course Overview
What makes you… you? Are we born with potential, or do we build who we become? Can creativity be taught, or is it something we learn over time? In ITP, all of our new Year 5 students come together to explore how learning really works and what your brain is capable of. You’ll discover how challenge helps your brain grow, how creativity develops and how to design a personal learning toolkit that supports you, not just at PEAC, but for life. Through inquiry, design thinking, discussion and problem-solving, you’ll learn how to think deeply, try new ideas and take charge of your learning. This course is linked to the General Capabilities of the Australian Curriculum, especially Critical and Creative Thinking and Personal and Social Capability, helping you become a confident thinker who knows how to learn, work with others and keep growing.
Most courses are half a day durations at our various venues, however, there two full day options at Clayton View Primary School (Fridays: 27 Feb – 27 Mar) & Weld Square Primary School (Fridays: 24 Apr – 22 May).
