Ocean Safari takes students on a journey to explore the wonders of our oceans. It is a fact that we know more about the surface of Mars and the moon, than we know about the bottom of the ocean. In this course students will explore what we do know of the landscape, ruins and ecosystems of the world that lies beneath the surface of our blue planet.
A visit to AQWA will allow students to get up close and personal with the varied ecosystems that make up our oceans. Utilising critical and creative thinking skills, students will investigate the importance and current health of our oceans.
They will design and implement a project targeting a specific issue facing our oceans and become an Ocean Guardian.
