In this course, you will explore ciphers, codes and covert operations while investigating how information is hidden, transmitted and uncovered. Thinking like both a historian and a strategist, you will research famous spies and analyse how intelligence work has evolved over time, including the technologies used in past and present contexts. You will apply logical reasoning and pattern recognition to create and break codes, testing your ideas and refining your techniques. This course extends your thinking by challenging you to solve complex problems, evaluate evidence and think strategically in situations where information is incomplete or hidden.
