Course Overview
Step into the Drone Zone and explore how cutting edge technology is transforming the world around us. In this course, you will develop your STEM skills through coding, engineering design and problem solving as you learn to program drones to complete a range of challenges, including delivering packages, watering crops, navigating obstacle courses and creating a synchronised drone show. Thinking like an engineer and systems designer, you will analyse how drones operate, refine your code and improve performance through testing and iteration. You will also investigate how drones are used in real world contexts such as bushfire response, wildlife rescue and coastal monitoring.
This course extends your thinking by challenging you to apply computational thinking, collaborate effectively and design innovative solutions using emerging technologies.
