Guardians of the Earth

You have been bestowed the powers of a Guardian of the Earth! Join experts from UWA and CSIRO as we make sure that we all have food to survive as a human race. By 2050 the population of the Earth will be close to 9 billion. We need to start now to ensure we have enough food for our survival. You will be working with experts and scientists to ensure a sustainable food supply now and develop the future of farming. Insects anyone? Alternative food sources will be explored. Use virtual reality goggles to look into a cell. Explore the ways technology can help us to ensure we provide food for a growing population. We will be studying different soils and learn about microbes. We will look at fair trade to ensure producers are being supported around the world. Will you accept the challenge? You next dinner may depend on it!
