Course Content
Do you have ambitions to be a lawyer, or simply like to argue? In this course you will be introduced to the origins and basic principles of our legal system. Learn the language of the law, and learn how laws are made beginning with the Magna Carta. We will visit the State’s oldest courthouse, Francis Burt Law Centre, on Wednesday, 21st July, 9.30am – 12.30 pm. Parental transport is required. At the Francis Burt Law Centre, we will observe a Magistrate’s Court in session and take part in a mock trial.
