Course Overview
This is a course all about how and why chemical reactions occur. The number of chemical reactions that are involved in our everyday life will be a revelation.
Students will explore subatomic particles, elements of the Periodic Table, the bonds that hold matter together and how these bonds are broken during a chemical reaction to produce totally new substances.
Students will conduct investigations in the Science lab to discover different types of reactions and ways to speed up or slow down the rate of reactions. What reactions will fizz, pop or bang!!
