Course Overview
This course provides the opportunity for students to gain a practical understanding of screen acting and development of skills in the fundamental principles of screen acting. In a fully functioning film studio, students will learn and experience how to create characters and the use of ‘naturalism’ in films.
They will perform many of the crew roles when filmmaking with genuine film equipment. They will understand the different camera angles, camera awareness, continuity and what it is like working with a director. They will practise many improvisations and then create a three film scenes which they will film themselves.
